As part of an effort on my part to be transparent about everything I build, here is a real-life “work request” in action.  Our team met and determined we needed a location where we could communicate course demonstration spaces, course links, and syllabi more effectively with World Campus.

At the beginning of every semester we need to tell them where materials are located for publication in their marketing materials about the courses we offer through them.  Since our website (elearning. psu.edu) is already used as a front-facing site, why not just augment it?

In this screencast you’ll see how I use a View to build out a listing page for communicated with the World Campus.  From there our staff can copy and paste links to the correct people or just give them a link to this page.  After granting access to the view we’re rocking.  Hours of time saved in 3:31.
